    *edit* I guess 1 or 2 might be thrillers technically but all have horror elements too..

    Did you love the saw stories as much as I did? d--- I was so into that s--- when they were coming out, I hear there's rumors of a new one too..

    This is a great article about how complex the saw series is compared to other horror movies, a very good read if you're a fan.

    im huge on the saw franchise. Prob one of my favorites. They are just awesome cause of how complex they are

    Definitely not joking man, it's my favorite movie series ever. I saw every saw on opening day or opening night except for 6 unfortunately, i was going through some s--- at the time and didn't end up seeing it till way later.

    My favorites are all of them except 4 and 7. 4 and 7 weren't bad but I just didn't like them as much. I'd probably go with saw 2 or 3 as my favorite right now but that changes.

    @rapmusik please share this theory of yours. I used to visit a saw message board on a fairly regular basis and loved reading everyone's theories about the next movie and all that.

    was it called house of jigsaw? (the board)

    spoilers for those who haven't seen the saw series

    anyway, my theory is that detective matthews basically caused everything. he falsely arrested amanda, who became a junkie in prison. then her addiction caused her to get her friend to rob that clink that jigsaw's wife worked at. that ended up with jigsaw's unborn baby being killed (from the door incident).. which further inspired jigsaw to "test" amanda's friend (cecil) in that knife trap in saw IV. and then the rest is history. sorry if that doesn't make much sense. I'm not the greatest at explaining.

    I feel like a total fanboy tbh
