I say it's a toss up between the Pats over the past 15 years or the Niners through the 80s into late 90s.

I'd probably edge it to the 80/90's 49ers because they won 5 Super Bowls and were slightly more successful. Patriots can easily change that this year though lol

If they get one more this year under Brady, that will cement them as the greatest imo. Been there 6 times in the past 15 years, 4-2 obviously.

    49ers of the 80s
    Patriots of the 00s/10s
    Steelers of the 70s
    Packers of the 60s

    In that order imo

I think when it's all said and done the 2000-10s Patriots will be the greatest ever. They've been to six Super Bowls and won four. And I'd be willing to bet Brady wins at least 1-2 more before he retires. Honorable mention to the 90s Cowboys. Such a great team. I started watching the NFL in 1995 and that Cowboys team with The Triplets and Deion Sanders really got me hooked on watching football as a kid.

    I'd say...

    1. 2000s Patriots
    2. 1970s Steelers
    3. 1990s Cowboys
    4. 1980s 49ers
    5. 1960s Packers

Hard to say how in order they "should" go but I will say one dynasty of a decade that doesn't get much respect at all is the 50s Browns, won 7 championships in that decade. Pre-Superbowl bias, I get it. But definitely something that deserves more props.

Lol are you joking? You would bet that Brady will win 1 or 2 more Super Bowls? He is 38 and the team has some noticeable deficiencies this year. I don't think their chances are high going into the playoffs right now although every team is pretty mediocre. That would mean he has to win next year at 39 and possibly again at 40. Not going to happen. No offense @Fitz and this is all obviously just an opinion.

He is one of the most clutch QB's in the history of the game, but he is on the decline and does not have the support in an o-line or offensive weapons he used to have. I would bet the Pats don't win another Super Bowl in the next couple years and by that point Brady will be done. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull something out of their a--- as always, but I HIGHLY doubt it. The win last year was all predicated on the Seahawks making one of the worst play calls ever. Not to discount Malcolm Butler at all, but he shouldn't have even had the opportunity to make that pick.

And f--- the Cowboys. I can't believe an Eagles fan just wrote what I read.

I'd say the Patriots are still the favorites to win it all this year. Just wait till the playoffs when they have all their receivers back healthy. Brady is still at the top of his game and they'll continue to build the team around him in the coming years.

I think you are severely underrating the guys the Pats are getting back and maybe forgetting how they looked before legit half their team went out with injuries. They legitimately just gave away the #1 seed in order to preserve the health of their top players.

I think it's impossible to predict how the Pats will look in a couple weeks...

They will be in the AFC Title game like they are every year and from there who knows.

Ppl always like to discredit the Pats win last year by that last play call, saying they got lucky. They did get lucky but ppl forget how Tyree-like that Kearse catch was a few plays before. Also how incredible Brady was in the 4th quarter seems to have been forgotten.

Tom Brady is that team. They may be bringing a few people back next year but their o-line is still below average. With an aging QB, that should be top priority. I don't think it bodes well for their chances in the coming years.

However, speaking on their continued success in reaching playoffs and getting the first round bye, it doesn't hurt that they have had perennially weak opponents in their division. You can argue the Jets were decent for a couple years, but they are losers. I know no win is easy in the NFL, but all three division rivals have a revolving door for coaches and management.

Also, I don't discredit the Pats on last years SB. They made a play when they needed too. What I'm saying is that they shouldn't have even had the opportunity to do it. The dumbass Seahawks handed that to them.
