Dec 3, 2015 I've been trying to get some shows so I can perform, but unfortunately there aren't a lot of open mic events in Houston for Hip-Hop/R&B that won't try to charge you to perform (I will never pay to play, I always thought it was supposed to be the other way around), I'm willing to fly out to do shows, Drive my truck across the freakin country, I want to perform and get my name out there so bad, I searching the internet for performance opportunities and I'm just not finding s---, so I have to ask you guys...how do you get gigs and get shows?!?

Dec 3, 2015 For real though, I'd try to get gigs at like Sweet 16s and stuff, I know that b---- @Deadpool does that but he's a DJ. Just hook up with a DJ and maybe they can get you some stage time. You got any joints for the 16 year old girls?
Dec 3, 2015 find out who's touring in your town, email the artists manager/tour manager and/or the venue and ask if they need supporting acts. won't work with big name acts but moderate level artists

Dec 3, 2015 I opened for Wale earlier in the year he didn't ask for s--- (I hit his DJ on twitter with a link thats how I got the gig), Its funny its the Kinda known artists that ask for the most.
