Jan 19, 2015 And saw this. That rumor from a long time ago had some truth after all. "WE AIN'T" F/ EMINEM Produced by: Eminem, co-produced by Luis Resto Game: I flew to 8 Mile and we went and got it in. I went to work with Em for like five days. He had five beats he made me. I rapped on all them and we recorded like four or five joints, but that was the best joint. [We have songs in the vault], not in my vault though. Em comes in the studio and he looks like a guy that can’t rap at all. He just chills with some sweats on, Jordans, a hat, and a jacket or a hoodie or something. Then he comes in with more Taco Bell then the law allows man. f---ing, Taco Supremes and Mountain Dew. And he listens, "How you feeling? You like this joint? Aight, do ya thing." Then he goes off in the corner and starts spitting like he’s in a cypher. If you look at him, you’d think there’s five other dudes spitting with him like he’s in a real cypher, but it’s just him. He writes in circles on the paper. He literally turns the paper man and writes from the inside outside, some weird s---. Em [added the samples in the hook]. Every voice on there is him. He’s like Eddie Murphy and s---. Em can do anything. Dude is a genius. Angelo Sanders: I went to Detroit with Game. That was the only record I got a good shout out on, "Yo, Lo get Dre on the phone quick/Tell him Em just killed me on my own s---." [Laughs.] We’d been waiting to get that feature forever and by that time 50 had been involved and everyone had gotten their records in, Em was like, "Aight, send him to me." Em was super professional. He came in, "What do you wanna do?" He played us some beats and we jumped on that record like, "This is the one that feels the most like what we wanna hear you on." We didn’t go there trying to get Em on some other s---. We wanted him. Love or hate the record, we knew what we wanted with that. We coulda done something different, but Game wanted to compete with Em on his own s---. And, literally it was what he said on it, Em ate him up. So where's this vault & how can I get access? I bet 50 took them and burned them Full article: http://www.complex.com/music/2015/01/making-of-games-the-documentary?utm_campaign=complexmusic+socialflow+01+2015&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social
Jan 19, 2015 Great feature, love s--- like this. Em sounds like a genius at his craft but someone you'd hate as a friend.
Jan 19, 2015 good read...would love to hear the other tracks in the vault...thought Game/Em was a good combination - at least in Documentary era
Jan 20, 2015 I f---ing said this months ago. I said they had five tracks and some got deleted because game was showing them to his friends. Ya'll can piss off.
Jan 20, 2015 Game's a f---ing dumbass lol here's what I was referencing in the OP @the lyricvore s---'s ridiculous "Game has been signed to Aftermath since Late 2002. Eminem had mentioned all of the Shady/Aftermath/G-unit members in countless songs, but he failed to mention Game. Apparently, Dr. Dre did not tell Eminem that he had signed Game until Dre had put Game into G-unit. Eminem felt "jealous" as he knew Dre would have his full attention on Game due to the fact that he is from Dre's hometown of compton and is the next big west coast artist. Dr. Dre asked Eminem to produce a few tracks for "NWA: Volume 1" (Dre asked Em to do this in Early 2004, Which is why the album name is "NWA:Vol 1". They didn't change it to the Documentary until July 2004). Em had decided to produce a few tracks, and he even appears on an unreleased track (Dr. Dre Ft Eminem, Game and Nate Dogg, Which was a rumoured Detox Track) with game even though there was still a little bit of tension. Game and Em had been in 54 Sound (Detroit) and had recorded 5 Tracks. Game apparently started spreading rumours about Eminem and had gave his friends the unreleased tracks that Em and Game had recorded. When Em found this out, he informed Dre and got his approval to Erase all but one track, which is "We Aint", as you heard on the Documentary. This beef has not yet been resolved."
Jan 20, 2015 Would love to get access to that vault, I read something similar about 50. That when 50 was recording GRODT he recorded like 4-5 songs with EM and then 50 kept 2 for his album. The 03 EM and 50 along with the 05 EM and game would be an awesome listen plus all the s--- we don't even know about in there.
Jan 20, 2015 So I had assumed that I've heard everything from Em, including features. Never heard "We Aint" until now. Give me moar pls.
Jan 20, 2015 The f---? Does that mean you've never heard the doc? If you haven't heard we ain't there is probably several Eminem songs you haven't heard.
Jan 20, 2015 Honestly, I'm not sure. I used to listen to Game hella hard but for some reason that track sounds new. I've definitely heard The Documentary tho. I might be trippin. What other tracks do you think I haven't heard? I know features from that time period like Bump Heads or Warrior pt 2 so I don't know. We Ain't just felt new..
Jan 20, 2015 have you heard all the songs he did with Obie Trice? Some of my favorite Eminem ft's were with Obie... here is some other tracks as well.
Jan 20, 2015 Haha yea I've heard the Obie stuff (Emulate is dope ofc) and I've heard all 3 of those tracks you posted. I swear bro, I've heard all of Em's s---.. just this We Ain't track.. dun know lol
Jan 20, 2015 I went to the 10th anniversary concert for the documentary yesterday. He was supposed to perform the whole album but when We Ain't came he only did the hook and didn't do any of his verses. He also brought out Dre who literally stood on stage for 1 minute while Game said how much he appreciates him for giving him an opportunity... Then without saying a word Dre hugged Game and walked off the stage, f---ing dinosaur couldn't even pick up a mic.
Jan 20, 2015 We ain't was the last good verse that was released prior to Eminem's first hiatus. I believe the apple and difficult were products of the Koolo era.
Jan 20, 2015 Sounds like Game. I wouldn't want to see We Ain't performed unless Em was there, I hate it when 50 & Game perform Hate It Or Love It & How We Do without the other.
