    Rumor has it that the "wire" and luther" actor is going to be the next James Bond. Many people have came out agaisnt it but honestly i would love to see him play 007

    I won't believe it until I see it. He definitely won't replace Daniel Craig, and in that universe Bond is a family name instead of a code name. Elba would be perfect fit for a role though.

    just started watching luther. d--- good show, glad i did. binge watched the first season on to the second now.. I think he would make a really good bond.. fresh new take..

    There's been more speculation of what it would take for Elba being the next Bond rather than rumors

    Would be a godly choice though

    If they were going to cast a Black dude, Idris is the logical choice. I know Daniel Craig said in the past that the next Bond should be Black (or "Colored" as he put it).
