Would you still be a fan of the franchise? Move on to a team closer to your hometown? Jump on with a current contender? This is inspired by what happened with the Rams. Colts have already tried recruiting some fans over since it's such a short drive from St. Louis to Indy. I'm lucky to live in a big city so I don't have to worry about this, but I'd probably lean towards sticking with the original franchise since I'd be so familiar with the players. What about you guys?

Yeah but still. Sonics fans were in a similar position a few years ago when then lost KD, Russ & the Sonics to OKC and they turned into one of the best teams in the league.

@BigCountry you're from Washington right? Were you a Sonics fan? Did you stick with them when they left?

I used to go to Sonics games all the time. Had they stayed just one more year we woulda been killer. Only got to see one year with Durant, but hey, at least I got one! And yeah I stuck with the Thunder, partially to spite everyone being a b---- about them leaving because that's the type of hipster sportsfan I am, but also because they're dope. Haven't kept up with basketball in a few years though. Why even watch the Thunder anymore without James Harden?

I love watching them but they could've been really special with him, KD, and Russ. Ibaka is nice but idk how or why they valued him more than Harden. They're gonna regret that move for a loooonngggg time.

It'd be awful, I'd still be a fan but it would s--- a lot. Always been a hometown guy when it comes to sports, never liked teams that were all over the country.

Would never happen here in a million years. I guess if it did I would be pretty pissed at the team, would still follow them though I'm sure.

I wouldn't have a problem with the international teams that I support. But if happened to an Adelaide based team, then it would be different. I was aligned to Port Adelaide from the day I was born and because they're not a franchise and started off as a local club I can't ever see them relocating, but if they did I wouldn't ever support anyone else. I hate every other AFL club. :pac:

This isn't even a possibility for Boston sports' fans, but yeah, I'd stick with them.

It's a good question. I'm a very passionate supporter of my Australian football team so if they relocated I definitely would still support them. I mean, I'll look at it the other way around - if I had to relocate to another state would I still support Collingwood (my team)? Yes. So I guess it'd be the same scenario. Just watching them when they're in town and/or traveling to see them occasionally.

I probably would so long as the name remains the same. But a lot of their relevance has to do with the fact that they're the local teams that I grew up rooting for. I follow the Knicks and the Mets. I grew up in the 90's when the Knicks were a great team and they really represented this city at that time. I'm from Flushing, Queens and grew up going to Shea Stadium and going to Mets games as a kid and then going to Citi Field as an adult.

I mean I live in San Francisco but I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, Los Angeles Lakers fan and a Barcelona fan lol. This isn't really possible for me lol. I support the SF Giants just because their my hometowns baseball team but I'm not really into baseball all like that. I only really watch it during the post season lol
