    Eminem gets more hate than Hitler showing up to a bar mitzvah. But why? It's clear he's not the rap god he once was. And I know as well as the next guy what it was like seeing him in his prime. But for being in the game for 15+ years and being able to craft a song like Beautiful Pain is outstanding. No artist in any genre is near as good as they were during the hay days. I think he is far past what most at his age and time line should be at. People hype up every release to no end, just so they can pick it apart. I don't get it.

    Homie, the hate -in 99% of the cases hate irrational- that gets Eminem is not new.

    Any person who has entered on the internet at the beginning of the last decade can attest this.

    Do not look for a logical explanation, Em was always an easy target to whom to hate, and now a little more thanks to the collaborations with pop artists and his decrease of level.

    A good artist should keep his music steady rather then being scattered around. Meaning he may still have the ability to create songs that are exceptional, he still tends to screw things up by releasing unpleasant songs like Survival. That's why he was the greatest rapper when MMLP & TES were released, they were flawless albums & nothing about them made the fans pissed off. Now that he almost o.d'd he doesn't know were he is at and it's like he can't go back to the rapper he once was & doesn't know when to call it quits, he just continues to release music that's horrible & continues to ruin his legacy.

    Is he really going to ruin his legacy though? The only hate I see his new music getting is on the internet. Eminem after Encore > Jay z after the Black Album.

    American Gangster, WTT s--- on eminem after TES. And to answer the question, eminem is bad if you compare him to how he used to be, yes. Other than that he's just average imo.

    Eminem is overhated on the internet
    And overrated in the mainstream,
    It is the way the world works and i accepted it long ago, i just choose to enjoy his new music without needing the permission of people on the internet...

    To me it's a matter of three eras for Eminem.

    1999-2003 Eminem was amazing
    2004-2009 Eminem was embarrassing
    2010 to present Eminem has been average.

    How did I miss that post, AG and WTT are both classics. And to be fair same happens with eminem on here, some praise him and some say he sucks, while it has been average lately
