Plus take out all the bad tracks, Than Encore would have been really good. Not a classic. But really good.
It's a shame really. Concept was solid. The tracks were there. What a wasted opportunity.

Puke and One Shot 2 Shot definitely aren't good songs. Evil Deeds and Mosh fall into the below average category for me.

What I'll say is that I can listen to Encore on a rainy day front to back(could back in 2004 as well), can't say the same for MMLP2

I always liked encore. There are some awful songs. Seems like that time period is when he lost his perception of reality and fell apart on the mic

think about what you’re saying. an album with Mosh, Puke, My 1st Single, Rain Man, Big Weenie, Just Lose it and a--- Like that, all in a ROW no less, has to be considered a trainwreck, even if there’s a handful of good-to-great tracks. if you spilled wine all over your $400 gucci polo, would it not be ruined?

or can you actually sit through the whole album front to back?

5 awful tracks then the rest are average-great. If you base your whole rating of an album based on under half the songs then that's just out right r-----ed

those 7* awful tracks constitute such a huge blemish on the album that it just can’t be taken seriously. you might have had a point if Encore were just some random playlist on your iPod, but it’s a studio album and should be treated as such.

11 years later yall still trying to fix Encore's tracklist

Could've been a cool EP, that's it. That middle section ultimately hurt my soul as a fan. I'd rather listen to the most heavy accent songs on Relapse then that middle section.

Em really spent an entire verse (If I remember correctly, wouldn't dare listen to it again) describing a Britney Spears - JT sex tape in which they first think he says "n-----", but then realize he says "I'm gonna c-m". Sit back and think about that for a second. Encore is his worst album, period.

If we match up encore to mmlp2, encore wins all day....
More s--- songs on mmlp2 than encore. Also, the high caliber songs on Encore > mmlp2.

Take each album...put it on a playlist, delete the garbage and what are you left with??? Mostly encore right?

I agree as I can't listen to it all the way through due to that awful middle patch of songs, but to me it's an average album. It is a studio album and if you listen to it all the way though it still executes its theme perfectly no matter how bad some of the songs are, so to me it is still average viewing it from that prospective.
