    I was given the priviliedge to work on a mix for Kendrick Lamar's upcoming album...I was never in the studio with Kendrick but was on call for an over nite mix job that ultimately ended up being scrapped.......i was told to do what ever with the mix becuz the producers couldnt come to terms with the sample owner. i was supposed to mix the vocals which were actually a sample of another song kendrick did with talib kwelii apparently...then kendrick would re-record the same lines when he actually ended up in the studio...the song was called lavish and the verses i heard were very rough, but had a verse reflecting a local marketplace robbery, a woman who had grown vegetables to try and earn money to support her children and the robber who wasn't able to find a job due to prior convictions and had to steal from the woman to support his children....it was supposed to be the second last song on the album....but the layout was a very early skeleton of the album...this mix is from october
