so I randomly clicked the link in your avatar to bluntslide and was jamming to it for like 30 minutes forgetting what was playing. then spent another 30 minutes trying to figure what post i got the link from to tell you how sick it was. Good s---, do you listen to dubstep at all, or pretty lights/glitch/pantyraid or even bassnectar. Im in athens which is like music central for the kind of beats you are making.. thoroughly impressed.

Yeah, I get what you're saying and I agree. f--- assigning member names. Only reason I said that was people who haven't seen The Wire, but f--- it .. the focus of the story is message board related so they'll obviously be able to relate, no need to name characters as members, and I agree that some could seem very forced and therefore end up f---ing everything up. Like you said, general message board would be much funnier. That way you'll be able to add-in the anonymous bad rep thing as well since it won't specifically be related to SL, just message boards in general. Imagine court scenes where someone is accused of anonymously bad repping someone to death (got him in the red). Dude, this def has potential .. just think of it as exactly how The Wire is but instead of drugs you got reps, lol ..

Just imagine someone like Lester with that patient face of his trying to figure out who sent him an anonymous bad rep (though that may not work on SL, since you can see who repped you) or just trying to nail the rep trading king-pin. Or Rawls giving it off to McNulty because he can't figure out how that judge has more rep than him. Lol, random ideas man .. just thinking out loud here, but I seriously think you can come up with tons of stuff, .. and of course you can make the characters members from SL which'll be pretty funny .. that way even people who haven't seen The Wire will be able to relate to it.

Dude, I actually think letting reps be the focus could be pretty funny. People selling reps on corners. Killing each other because of bad reps. Friends becoming enemies because one of them good repped a person the other doesn't like or vice versa. And since trading reps is not allowed on the forum, that's where the police comes in .. to monitor illegal rep activities and s---, since they believe reps have to be earned, not bought from corners. I def think it has potential .. lol, if you just get on the right track I think you can come up with a lotta different storylines.

But dude, I think The Wire could be a lot funnier .. selling reps on corners .. yeah, with so many characters and s--- and so many episodes to work with, I can def see this being something that you can do a lot with. People who have seen The Wire will f---ing love it no doubt and even people who haven't seen it will def like it.

Lol, yeah .. seen SHH, hilarious show. Tbh I wasn't sure how your idea of a real life troll would work on a TV show, but with what you said about that dude playing all three characters, I can see it working. Only problem is that I think I'm really starting to find the idea funny because I've seen the show, you know? For some reason I get the vibe that people who haven't seen the show won't find it that funny. Dunno, can't really say till you come up a couple of pages or something. Has potential though .. but at the same time, even if it does work .. I don't think it's something you'll be able to stretch into something as long as the Dex thing.

Continuing story and character arcs sound good, lol. Lemme know when you have a clear picture in your head with what you wanna do and if wan't some ideas,

Hmmm .. personally I think The Soprano's is too classy a show to do something like that with, you know? Like with the trolling character you have in mind .. don't think it fits that show.

How about a show like Prison Break? Michael's trolling people non-stop in prison? Or maybe T-bag's trolling people, lol .. either of their faces could work for a character like that. They don't even have to be in prison, after the first season they got out so you don't really have to do prison if you don't want to, thought trolling people in prison just sounds funny.

But like you said, since you have just a very basic idea, it's kinda hard to recommend a show or direction to go in ..

There are tons of shows you could work with man. Just give me an idea of the general storyline/type of people involved .. as much detail as you can .. and I'm sure I'll be able to recommend a show to go for and characters you could use.
