So lately we've had @Final's and @Narsh's double/triple posting being called into question as well as the topic of spam/high quantity posting being a perceived issue amongst those who yearn for quality posts.

One of the sports forums I frequent also use Xenforo and one of their mods/features is a multi-quote button that sits next to the reply button. It's a lot more efficient as it saves that post or multiple posts before you reach the reply box and let's you add all the posts you've multi-quoted.

At the moment the only way to emulate that is to manually quote each post, but that scrolls down to the reply box each time when most of the time you just want to continue to scroll down the page for more quotes or go to the next page.

With the mod it'd make multi-quoting more efficient basically.

I don't think that's true. As long as I click 'reply' by the post I want to quote, it will send it to my reply box.

Basically, the 'reply' button by each post acts as a multi-quote function.

The point I'm trying to make is that if you want to reply to multiple posts at once the procedure in getting all the quotes together is a bit annoying. Click on reply to one post and it takes you down to the reply box instantly, which is a hassle as it makes me scroll back up the page if I want to find more posts to reply to.

The reply button as is acts perfectly if you want to just reply to one post. If you want to reply to more than one post then the tedious task of click and scroll up each time becomes annoying.

Yep. If a multi-quote button were in place next to 'reply' for instance, it would save a lot of time and would make it easier for people to multi-quote instead of them spamming in succession.

im just showing you that it can easily be enabled but im not happy with it right now...we will turn it to just + sign next to reply then we will re-enable it

how about? is tihs acceptable?

to multi quote...hit the + next to all the quotes you want...then go to post..and click "insert quotes"

you probably didnt notice, the reason its done like that is because you can multi quote from multiple threads and reply at them at once...also...once you hit "insert quotes" box..you can actually rearrange them by dragging

Why? This mod was basically made for you, why would you not use it?
