    So...I just slept with my best friends ex from 3 years ago. They were together for like 1 1/2 years and occasionally speak. I feel guilty as f--- and dunno what to do. Help a brother out

    if you're still f---ing, and things have a chance to blow up in your face, then you need to figure out a way to tell your buddy. but if it was a one time thing, just talk to her, brush it under the rug, and keep it a secret.

    no good can come out of this situation.

    No love s---, was just a spur of the moment kinda thing. I'm just gunna be straight up with him, would rather him find out from me than anyone else.

    Honestly, it shouldn't really matter as long as he's over it. Three years is a long time. Personally I wouldn't really care if one of my friends slept with an ex of 3+ years ago, though if it was a one time thing I'd rather just not know about it at all. If it progresses beyond that then I'd want my friend tot be the one to tell me.:idk:

    edit: though I guess it certainly depends on the situation of the relationship/breakup.

    Personally it's been 3 years so I don't see what you have to be guilty about. Yeah, it could be awkward with them speaking, but if there was still love there between them something would've happened by now.

    This. Same thing happened to a friend of mine. After one of his best friends broke up with his gf he started dating her (behind everyone's back). We found out pretty soon and we kicked him out of our group. And the guy in question kicked his a---.

    It's his EX. though, it would be different if she was still his gf or something. I understand there's moral grounds here, and it's still kinda messed up..but still. Keep it quiet, keep it one and done.. and never mention it. I've been in this situation before, with my EX best friend..f---ing my ex gf..I felt like ripping his heart out, but then I just f----- his sister..and I felt better. Eye for an eye, but in your case...just keep it quiet, and you should be fine. The guilt will soon go away, just don't repeat it.
