Jun 20, 2016 Mods: If this is not allowed or you don't want this to happen, I'll pull it. Welcome. This is the thread for an event I'm creating for the SectionEighty community. This is unofficial at the moment but I'm hoping to get co-sign endorsement. Anyways, despite our small numbers; we need to put on this event. I mainly want this idea to happen because we are a unique community and we need to show this. So what's going to be at this event? Music: Artists from all over the world (specifically SXN80 artists) will be able to perform their material for hopefully a larger audience. There are so many talented people and we need to showcase it. Art: We have a large creative community, wouldn't you want to showcase your art and get money for it. Vibes: We have the coolest vibes of any community and well, if I pull this off, SectionEighty will be known forever. Networking: We are real people too, we need to connect; more importantly I want to connect with you guys. And of course, if SXN80 wants to help out or you have comments; post in this thread. Show support, we're going to start 2017 in style. DONATE (I'm going this on the cheap, $10,000 is all this party needs to be lit; why? Because venue spaces are expensive and I need to find a good venue for this.)
Jun 21, 2016 I voted no. I love this site and have no problems with almost everyone, but I don't have the time, money, or interest to meet up with everyone. Plus I doubt it'd be anywhere near Iowa.

Jun 21, 2016 $4,000 of that is going to the venue + insurance costs imposed by the venue. I'll actually lower the goal if anybody can prove I can do it for cheap; maybe $2,500 I'll do with.
