    It's not that.. I don;t like to listen to music when there's a lot of people or make it

    I'm having a cook out atm, and there's 7 people here.. that I don't like..that my gf invited..lol

    and one awkward encounter of her inviting one of her gf's I used to b---..so I'm just drinking a coke, waiting for everyone to leave

    theme was "maturity/growth" or some dumb s---, so i took an ironic stance on that

    the verse was supposed to imply a lack of understanding/insight on my (the narrators) part, and that's tied together by the last line "Ill stand by my damages"

    there are also references to how my parents had an arranged marriage, under the guise of a first born like me, and hoped Id go down an ideal path in life, etc, but I chose to deviate from that. The narrator argues "who they to look down" because he believes his parents were merely a product of their environment, while he's trying to do something different.

    written and recorded in 15 mins but yeah

    Could be a neat contest idea @LasiK @Creation, altho I don't know how well weekly would work. Should probably start off with like a monthly one and then go from there if there's enough interest
