May 16, 2024 https://www.ign.com/articles/jason-...atform-expansion-of-friday-the-13th-franchise f--- yeah!! F13 fans we are so back
May 16, 2024 After looking at it more, doesn’t seem like it :/ just a bunch of media. Basically everything EXCEPT a movie, but the TV show is still going on. As much as I’d love a new movie, I feel like these are baby steps to get back to that. I’m just glad that Jason can finally get back out there in pop culture
May 16, 2024 What I want most is a new movie and a new game similar to the last one but better in every way. Hopefully that happens. Maybe they want to make sure Jason is still popular before they release a movie and flop at the box office. There’s also the fact that there’s already a ton of Friday the 13th movies out. It seems like we’re far away from another movie coming out unfortunately, but hopefully I’m wrong. Maybe things can pick up if that Peacock series does well.
May 16, 2024 Blumhouse Gives New Release Dates to ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2,’ ‘M3GAN 2.0’ and ‘The Black Phone 2’ M3GAN 2.0 - June 27, 2025 The Black Phone 2 - October 17, 2025 FNAF 2 - December 5th, 2025 Looks like Blumhouse will actually have a good year next year, can’t wait for all 3 of those movies! Especially FNAF, I have such a soft spot for that franchise since I grew up loving those games. 26 month wait between Part 1 and 2 is better than the 8 year wait for Part 1
May 18, 2024 Watching Mad God on shudder right now. Joe Bob edition. Avid horror movie fan. What are some of yalls favorite flicks?
May 18, 2024 The shining is my all time favorite, which is boring I know Some horror movies I really like off the top of my head are X Pearl Thanksgiving Talk to me The hills have eyes Get out Orphan Orphan First k--- The Black Phone Evil Dead(2013) Scream Movies Joy Ride(f---ing classic movie although I'd say it's more of a thriller) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) The Green Inferno Halloween (rob zombie one from 2007) Saw (the first one, after that I thought they were dumb) Mr. Brooks(amazing movie, serial killer but more of a thriller)
May 18, 2024 Haven't seen FNAF and Megan yet are they good? Black Phone was okay I expected a little more horror though
May 18, 2024 Good that you found your way to this thread bro. Obviously I'm gonna say the Halloween franchise. The OG, the sequels and reboot versions. And classic franchises like Elmstreet, Friday 13th, Exorcist, Scream, Childs Play all of them. The more 'modern' ones some examples; Conjuring 1,2 Insidious 1,2 Get Out It Follows Truth or Dare Sinister (so d--- creepy) The Strangers Talk to Me The Babadook Happy Death Day The Ring Fear Street The Omen (OG) Final Destination movies And I could go on. Still need to see some recent ones like Thanksgiving (got it on dvd) Abigail, Nights at Freddies, Late Night w the Devil etc.
May 18, 2024 The strangers is a classic, don't know how I feel about that new one though I tried five nights at Freddie's and turned it off
May 18, 2024 The remake u mean? Haven't seen it yet u did? Also kinda unpopular but I kinda liked Strangers 2 as well. It relies a little too much on family drama instead of being f---ing creepy but I still think its well done. The first one was more 'simple' that made it scarier to me but I like how they ended the story. Hmm yeah mixed reviews on that one. What made you turn it off?
May 18, 2024 d---, lots of movies being listed in here that I need to check out. I haven’t been a big movie watcher most of my life so I’ve only seen the basic s--- for the most part.
May 18, 2024 Your entire list, although I saw some Final Destination movies as a kid but I don’t remember them well. I saw half of Justin’s list tho
May 18, 2024 I just found it kinda cringy and can't see how it's actually any good. Just wasn't really my thing. I liked the second strangers as well, I meant the remake one that came out today. Haven't seen it, I'll check it out at some point. Have you watched Mr. Brooks before? It's a serial killer movie but you can see his other personality it's really good. Also joy ride is a fun movie Theyre both not super horror movies but have killing and death in them so sorta horror
May 19, 2024 FNAF is mid if you aren't familiar with the games, it's good gateway horror for people too young for rated R if you aren't invested in the lore lol.
May 19, 2024 Always happy to see Rob Zombie Halloween love, I also love basically every Evil Dead movie. I'm more of a casual fan of The Shining but since it's one of your favorites I wonder what you think of Doctor Sleep? It's not really a horror movie and has some cringe moments but it juggles being true to the books but also a sequel to the Kubrick movie pretty well imo.
