May 21, 2024 I like anoes2 it's super gay but who gives a s---? movie's good, the practical effects and the pool scene go crazy (even if it f---s up the established lore on the first one idgaf, freddy was revived by a dog pissing fire on his skeleton on the 4th one, nobody ever gave a f--- about freddy's lore being consistent)
May 21, 2024 See @Michael Myers only true horror fans can truly understand the movies greatness. Agree with everything you said bro... For me, the second one is nearly as good as the first. It just came out (get it) during a very camp time, whilst being made by a queer director, but underneath the layers of the sitsa great horror film. Like you said the pool scene is epic especially Kruger dialogue. Freddy is at his best in ANOES2. I'm as straight as they come (get it) but I even enjoyed the shower murder scene.... With all the balls....

May 21, 2024 Lol the director is h---------- for real I think he has a Freddy Kruger fantasy and wanted to be jessy so bad. Another great scene was the basement scene, Jessy finds the glove etc. Admittedly, the ending in the abandoned factory or even krugers demise isn't great. What's your thoughts on the remake (2010 version)?
May 21, 2024 I wasn't a big fan of how much they focused on the kid diddler stuff,in order to be able to enjoy Freddy's character I prefer that s--- to be much more subtle or not even mentioned at all like in the original films, thought the whole "maybe freddy is innocent" angle was a waste of time and I despised the new main characters, they looked like pissed off teens ready to burst into tears at any moment plus they looked like they didn't even wanna be in the movie, I kind of enjoyed the new Freddy, he was scary as s--- imo but the makeup and cgi didn't help him at all, he's no Englund for sure but who could be anyway? he was alright. I don't think it's the worst travesty I've ever seen or even the worst Freddy movie tbh, but it's so forgettable and half baked that I don't really give a s--- about it

May 22, 2024 Al I saw was this @BIGFOOT Also, I think the remake was kinda bad. Katie Cassidy was great but killed off too soon. The girl playing Nancy was not even close to Heather. But obviously... Freddy was not Robert. Biggest issue
May 22, 2024 Honestly, ANOES2 might be #4 if I were to rank the elm street movies (not counting FvJ) OG, Part 3, New Nightmare in that order is my top 3 i haven’t seen Dream Master in awhile though
