May 22, 2026 at 6:34 PM Getting signed by one of the biggest rappers in the world and only selling 2k is not impressive.

May 22, 2026 at 9:52 PM Getting a Shady co-sign means nothing in 2026. It didn’t mean anything for slaughterhouse or yela. They sold better, but nothing really groundbreaking. D12 sold better but were way worse rappers. lol 50 is literally the only one who gain a major commercial increase from association. And that’s because 50 wasn’t like these other midgets. He had business savvy and knew how to use his image. Nobody outside of the fandom even knew the name of D12 members. YelaWolf was never gonna crossover because he had zero image other then being a country bumpkin, Slaughter house was just a bunch of New York tri-state area emcees, Crooked from death row and Royce who still to this day has zero commercial appeal. They don’t know the market, just the streets and rap. 50 had the best balance out of all of them. Dre knew this, Lovine, knew this. Plenty of rappers who could spit and had street image, but they weren’t able to package the story. Plenty of rappers been shot and survived, nearly all of them were from poverty or projects hustling. But they ain’t have the knowledge to do something with that. @BIGFOOT this what separates 50 from other cats.
