May 27, 2026 at 4:15 PM Was going great until I broke 2 of my fingers 3 days ago. It’s weird because it was only about 2 weeks ago I was discussing with friends about parts of our body we had broken and how I’d never broken anything in my life. Guess that’s what happens when you start putting stuff like that into the universe. Always humbles you.
May 27, 2026 at 4:23 PM 2026 has been cold and snowy. Record snowfall where I live since January; had to pay close to 2k to have almost 4 feet of snow shoveled off the roof in January. My 19 yo cat got sicker and died in Feb/March, in the middle of the worst snowstorm of the winter and the vet couldn’t get here and I couldn’t get there… had to wait 2 days for her to come here to give my grrrl a shot, but I was able to keep her comfortable with pain meds. RIP, Squirrel. 2 weeks ago it snowed some more. I had a work schedule in the fall and winter that I detested annd which almost did me in. The load lightened a bit at the end of April but I’m just now starting to feel normal. I have a great vacation coming soon though, so looking forward to that a lot. I hope the rest of the year just slows down a little. I do not require this level of excitement. On the plus side, my stalker seems to have found other s--- to disturb than mine, so that’s a serious bonus. it’s good to hear so many people are doing well and/or actively improving. @Spatula hope you’re still on the upswing too
