I’m worse then Kendrick and Meek (West Philly) f--- a backboard, then I’m throwing a referee (Eeek) Out with the old Team, in with D-Tweezy (D12) And if you wanna know why I’m MVP You can thank Debbie for putting me in Pee-Wee league
Jun 3, 2026 at 1:27 PM Apart from his weird obsession with Relapse, that's a very valid comment from Tyler. I started listening to Em properly in 2008. I heard some of his classic singles in childhood and was always captivated. I downloaded his entire discography on BitTorrent, uploaded it to my iPod shuffle and listened to the entire thing front to back for months on end. I was 13 or 14 at the time and was blown away at how good he was. Relapsed dropped and I was thinking wtf is this? I was young and naive so expected it to sound like pre clone Em and was gutted at the reality. I grew to appreciate it and liked Recovery (mainly for nostalgic reasons and the lack of accent), but the quality of his output since 2011 has been pretty shocking. Of course I'll always be a fan and he's released a handful of gems in that time since, but I was still a teenager when I realised the old Em was gone forever, and I wasn't even around to witness his prime like that. He's a completely different person and rapper to the GOAT of 99-03. If Eminem's career started in 2010 he wouldn't be in the top 50 rappers of all time.
Jun 3, 2026 at 1:51 PM I gotta wonder if some of the hits he's had later in his career are hits just because his name is attached to them Godzilla for example can be a fun song but it IS generic as f---
Jun 3, 2026 at 2:09 PM You listen to Drake and think his music is amazing, so we wouldn’t follow your opinions on anything either.
Jun 3, 2026 at 2:11 PM That blew cos of Juice's hook and the fact he died like a month earlier. That fast flow brought some traction on TikTok as well did it not?
