Eminem must be semi-retired at this point. Not even releasing a verse or anything in a year is pretty telling. I reckon next time you’ll hear from him, is if decides to release an album. Also don’t think he’ll ever announce a “retirement” album as it’s pretty cringe to do so, as there’s always a chance and highly likely he’ll release music still like all artists do and he is too self aware at this point to do that.
