Jul 1, 2026 at 6:16 PM I felt bad about how I rated Myers tape so I thought I'd give it another go... Jesus why did I do that?? why?? I forget the score i gave it before but this screams green mohawk pretending to be combover Clifford or comb-over Michael like never before. Now I can imagine a 20 odd year old loving this tape but a 46 year old guitar playing Dutch man, nah. I see it as Myers trying hard to create a clique solely for nefarious reasons. A 50 cent hate train? possibly. I saw the way Michael disliked the Jay Z negative comments not long ago.... so my new rating is a 1.6/10 I'm not sure if that was higher or lower than before but this score is MORE than fair. Pick you next mixtape wisely, Michael cos I will be watching and I'll definitely be waiting to review.
Jul 2, 2026 at 2:44 PM Not true brother @Marsh dm me asking questions about your mixtape. I told him to DM you but he is scared of the mohawk brother.
Jul 2, 2026 at 7:42 PM Lets Get Married Quick Review Sorry guys ive been so f---ing busy the last few weeks, only got to get this tape one run through. Really solid mixtape i liked most of it! My favorite songs on this May-December, Trying to throw your arms around the world, I want you and Dayvan Cowboy. I wasnt a big fan of Too Shy, actually kinda hate that song. Anyways sorry quick review and im gonna score the mixtape later tonight incase theres some stragglers. 7.5/10 @AOTWClub
Jul 2, 2026 at 8:50 PM @AOTWClub Forum Boy Summer Review: I didn't have many thoughts when I first saw the tracklist since I didn't recognize most of the songs on this tape, so I was excited to dive into it. Overall, I really enjoyed it. The song selection is honestly really solid. Blueberry Faygo has a smooth summer vibe. On & On was definitely one of the highlights and might be my favorite track on the tape. I'd never really listened to Sabrina Carpenter before but Espresso was surprisingly good too. Not Like Us is already a summer classic at this point and serves as a reminder of just how badly Drake got wrecked. Even the Willow Smith and Travis Barker track ended up being quite good. Turns out the "Keep my wife's name out your f---in mouth" household can make a solid song. The Jaden track and the last four songs on the tape didn't do much for me, but aside from that final stretch, this is a great project with some strong picks. 8.5/10
Jul 2, 2026 at 9:52 PM It’s nice to see I’m getting good reviews from you more frequently since you seem to be one of the more critical people here. It’s an interesting exercise in fine-tuning my playlisting skills. I’m glad to hear the song selection is solid, summer vibe music is my s---. I’ve been waiting FOREVER to use Blueberry Faygo and on & on but for one reason or another they kept getting cut from tapes I was making. I’m glad they made it here because Blueberry Faygo is my f---ing summer anthem. on & on might not immediately jump out as a summer song but it honestly really has those vibes for me, I love it. Perfect timing too seeing as how Drake’s album came out recently Yeah honestly it’s kinda crazy. I need to check out more of her recent albums Understandable, I kinda slowed down the tape near the end. That was intentional but definitely won’t be for everyone. I’m satisfied with this score, thanks bro
Jul 3, 2026 at 1:59 AM Hello everybody! Sorry for the random hiatus I went on. I went out of town last week and then this week has just flown by to the point where I realize I haven’t even looked at the site in nearly 2 weeks! That being said, I will likely be more active on here again very soon. This has been a very eventful and busy Summer for me, but I feel things finally starting to slow down. However, school starts back up in about a month and a half for me, and I am afraid I will become inactive within AOTWClub again, so due to this I think it’s time I hang up my jersey in the rafters of the AOTWClub arena. That sounds very dramatic for what the reality is, because I still plan to drop some reviews here every now and then. I’ll be most likely to drop reviews for albums selected every now and then, I may just be sitting out the mixtapes from now on. Basically, I just ask that @Justin Trudeau take me out of the schedule rotation for now for both albums and mixtapes and not hold off on tallying scores if I do not submit a review/score by a deadline. I apologize, as I have been falling behind on deadlines here for awhile now, so I think it’s best I remain a causal member of the club for a bit. I’ll likely ask to be put back into rotation this upcoming semester if the workload is less than anticipated! It’s been an awesome 2 years listening and discovering tracks with yall! I’ll just be taking a slight step back from this club for a bit until I can ensure that I can be a more consistent member! @AOTWClub

Jul 4, 2026 at 6:08 PM Ripper Roo - Forum Boy Summer: The Official Soundtrack (Hosted by DJ Roo) I was beyond hyped. A tape dedicated to Forum Boys? h--- yes. I've enjoyed every single Ripper tape before, and I was pretty intrgiued by the tracklist, so I jumped in (Forum Boys Rise Up) I was familiar with Alina Baraz due to Ripper's album pick last year (time flies by holy s---), and "Fantasy" was really good! Has a vibe that I really dig. I was pretty surprised by "NO FUN". Based off of the voice that he used to use back in the Filthy Frank/Pink Guy days, I thought Joji would've used a deeper voice for his music (which I've surprisingly never gotten around to listening to), but this was a pretty pleasant surprise. "Blueberry Faygo" is one of those songs that just screams 2020 to me, and I still enjoy it 6 years later. I do have to admit that I've gotten a bit used to the gay remix version however. never heard "on&on" before, but I really, really liked it. "The Less I Know the Better" is an all time classic, and it fits perfectly here. "Say So" is another pandemic era b-----r, and "Espresso" is basically the definitive pop hit of the 2020's. Although I do think it's been overplayed a bit, I still find "Not Like Us" to be a pretty fun song, and "INDUSTRY BABY" is always great. (Sidenote: Throughout this writeup, I've spoken a lot about the 2020's sound, and this song really reminds me of how I felt about Lil Nas X. I really enjoyed MONTERO and I truly though that he had a great run incoming, and then we just didn't really get much for a few years. Hoping he's doing well) Aside from a few tracks, I've never really gotten into Megan Thee Stallion, and "Hot Girl Summer" is fine, but doesn't really do much for me, a sentiment that also applies to "BYE". I had a good time with "t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l", but "car seats" was another song that didn't really hit me much. On the other hand, "deja vu" is one of the defining tracks of the decade, and it's awesome. I was literally thinking about the "Feels Like Summer" music video earlier, so it's placement here was a neat coincidence, and I think it's a pretty good track. Lastly, I found "Over Now" to be a really chill song, and a great closer. I had a pretty good time with this FBS themed tape. There were a few song in the last quarter that I wasn't as into, which bring my score down a bit, but I still think it works pretty well. It kinda sounds like a stream of songs that I would hear on the radio nowadays. Big thanks to @Ripper Roo for the tape, and yeah FAVORITES: NO FUN, Blueberry Faygo, on&on, The Less I Know the Better, Say So, Espresso, Not Like Us, Industry Baby, deja vu RATING: 8.5/10 @AOTWClub @Justin Trudeau
Jul 4, 2026 at 6:12 PM Asked this a few months ago, but are there any summer releases y'all are looking forward to? I saw Phoebe Bridgers get a mention earlier ITT. As for me, most of my most anticipated releases have released already and I can't really think of any more aside from the new Charli XCX later this month
