He is literally one of the last TRUE megastars so, the label won't allow him to go the route of Madonna or those other hasbeens. I think he probably has two more successful albums left before he completely becomes a legacy act. It is sad knowing he is at the end of his career but all things come to an end...

All of the great rappers that would be down to record with him but like you said, he chooses lesser known not as good artists to collab with. Plus when he does choose to jump on with a good artist he ruins the song by making it a point that he is more technical lmao. This guy's finished.
