Jul 19, 2026 at 4:39 PM Obsession is a good movie, but not necessarily a good horror. It’s more of a great idea and concept, with a very Black Mirror style scenario that makes for a great psychological thriller. It doesn’t really do much for me horrorwise, as I never found it particularly scary or unsettling, but the message it’s trying to portray is clever. The concept, hidden meanings and what it has to say are definitely more memorable than the actual horror elements. I enjoyed it for what it was, but if you go into it expecting a proper horror film, you might come away a little disappointed.
