Like the things that happen are horrifying and it can be scary to imagine yourself in the situation, but the movie itself didn’t scare me if you get what I’m saying. That’s not the appeal of it

Jul 24, 2026 at 10:45 AM Definitely, I don’t know how anything is gonna beat it, at least not in the horror genre. Inde Navarrette’s acting is incredible, Obsession alone makes me wanna see her in a lot more roles. The movie by itself is good but she made it great. She was livestreaming before Obsession blew up. She’s better at COD than a lot of my friends are lmao I’m not much of a movie guy so I’m not great at reviewing movies, but I definitely wanna try to give it a proper review after I watch the movie a second time. I wanna give it a 9/10. It’s gotta be at least 8/10. 7/10 is a good score but the movie feels better than that to me. But I also wanna give myself time to come down from the hype. It’s rare nowadays that a movie grabs me this much.

Jul 24, 2026 at 5:34 PM Just noticed there's a Obsession sequel coming (well at least in the same universe) called 'Anything But Ghosts' that confirms the fate of a character. f--- that lol I haven't seen any other horror movie from 2026 aside from Scream 7 so it's kinda pointless to say this but I'm pretty sure nothing will top this. Obsession is f---ing fantastic. And it's absolutely horror. It creeped me the f--- out lol. Also felt reallllly bad for (people that watched will know) man I truly hate what the person went through. This felt like a combination of Ruby Sparks (same concept like almost literally but not horror) and a bit of Get Out. Gonna be watching this a lot more times! 9/10 for now

Jul 24, 2026 at 5:49 PM Obsession blows Scream 7 out of the water. Scream 7 was decent but they definitely need to come with something way better with Scream 8 if they really wanna compete. I hope more films get inspired by Obsession and get more creative. We don’t need the same slop over and over again.
