His verses were beautifully delivered and the saxophone adds to the raw emotion of the song. Kendrick proved himself as an artist on this song and it really spoke to me. Well done, KDot.
May 12, 2015 not his best imo but very very very good. great piece of the album. the broken beat and broken voice really make the song. not to mention those gulping sounds and the beet bottle sounds

May 12, 2015 Mortal Man is up there for me too. I can just relate to u so much. It pretty much describes my life on a daily basis. I really like how Kendrick has become a role model and voice for this generation the last few years. To p---- A Butterfly will be recognized as a classic in a few years imo
