Oct 2, 2015 This kind of confuses me. My ex girlfriend doesn't seem to like lesbians or gays, and when I told her I liked lesbians she said I was nasty. Well, today I asked her why doesn't she like lesbians/gays and she said "Because God hates them and they'll burn in h---". That got me to thinking, why does God even hate Gays but has no problem with people who commit sins are long as they ask for forgiveness and love his other non gay children, and why would he even allow people to be gay if he has a problem with them and will just make them burn in h--- anyway? To me, it's the equivalent of building a house of cards, then just destroying it shortly after. What was the point of it? So simply, my question is: Why does God hate gays? Why would he even allow us to be gay if he hates them? Please guys, I'm looking for serious and logical answers to this. If you do help me to see a reason for this, thanks!
Oct 2, 2015 God does not hate gay people, it's the sin that he hates because sin separates religious people from God. in Islam (and perhaps Christianity too, google it), it's okay to be gay as long as you don't act on your urges. God does not hate people, but certain behaviors
Oct 2, 2015 Now I'm getting it a little more, but what about sexual urges? It is completely normal to have sexual urges and almost everyone (there are some sexualities like Asexuals who aren't turned on by sex at all) has them. Most people want to act on their normal urges too, so it's a sin do so something normal?
