Serious question, Barter 6 or ALLA?

    Do anyone down here enjoys Barter 6 more than this album? Cause i've never understood the hype around Young Thug (especially on this forum), and re-listening to few B6 songs after my first listen of the awesome ALLA album was even harder than usual :emoji_neutral_face: (I swear i'm not trolling).

    If you think so, could someone explain me please? thx:kanye3:

    ALLA is better but Barter 6 still a good album.

    L$D, Canal St. Excuse Me, Holy Ghost, LPFJ2 are all great...
    but the only dull point of B6 was "Amazing". If A.L.L.A was shorter, maybe...I just feel like there's too many mehh tracks on there.

    yes because asap is very straightforward. i feel like if i "got" his album one listen through. its produced better overall though.

    but thugs a more interesting rapper, makes thats rewarding on multiple listens (not just in a "oh it keeps sounding better and better" way, but catching things you missed etc) and his content is more engaging (even when rocky tries to be deep its boilerplate, when thug tries its at least in a unique slang, from a pov that needs to be deconstructed, often times funny etc)

    ALLA is good tho. b6 is just better if you ask me
