Or should we tax them out of existence and put those dollars towards the good of humanity?

    Very tough decision.

Your theory is based on billionaires actually paying tax though?

Probably not. If there are billionaires that do exist, there should be very few of them. I think there’s something like 400+ billionaires in the U.S. or something & that’s a ridiculous amount. I don’t know what exactly would be an appropriate amount though. Maybe less than 50?

Ideally, yeah. Practically I think there could be a dozen of them or so & the country would be fine/much better off overall.

This is a pretty deep question honestly..

Although, it doesn't seem morally right that someone needs that much money, it doesn't make much sense to force them to give it away either. The fact that there is no limit, creates motivation for those type of individuals in those situations. I think it would eliminate the motivation to want to be the most competitive businessman out there. Another thing to think about is how many jobs those billionaires are creating at the end of the day...They are essentially handing their wealth away to millions of people that work for them. There has to be motivation to want to improve yourself. Bill Gates actually uses his wealth appropriately, so does Warren Buffett. I guess the problem lies in the billionaires who are ungrateful with their wealth.

Im not compromising. I’m being realistic. Even China has billionaires. That zero number would be ideal but could we actually reach it? Probably not.

Lol, what do you mean "even China"? They are also a capitalist country with severe income inequality.

So it's realistic to get rid of some billionaires through unspecified means but not them all? This wreaks of a liberal's performative reasonability.

At what point do you say, "Should MIllionaires exist?" Is $999 million the cap?

Until everybody has healthcare, housing, food, etc I see no reason why we should feel complacent with robber barons around.

    1. if making way more money than you need because you already have plenty enough while people are starving is a motivation, then you're a f----- up human being
    2. improving oneself =/= making money/being a "good businessman" (lol)
    3. do you really feel like successful businessmen are successful just because they are "motivated"? most of the time they're successful because they inherint something already existent or because they're lucky, nothing to do with their hypothetically super-strong willpower
