    Toro Y Moi is an American solo artist, real name Chaz Bundick. Very talented dude.

    Tame Impala is a psychedelic rock band and they're from Australia. I found out about these guys hearing Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) freestryling over one of their songs in South Africa.

    Phil Beaudreau is an American solo artist, works with Interscope producer Dawaun Parker, they just recently signed to Def Jam.

    Iman Omari has produced and worked with Mac Miller and Kendrick Lamar quite often. He has his own solo work as a Neo-Soul artist.

    Meh, he's more Pop now than anything. I wouldn't put him in the hip-hop genre anymore.

    If thats the case I would put Pitbull in my top 10 easily. But I still see him as a rapper since he raps mostly

    I'd consider Pitbull Pop now too. He can rap, but he raps in the sense of being catchy and fun.

    I consider his music pop too for sure but pitbull himself is a rapper which is what OP asks. Btw he did make actual rap music back in the days and now ocassionally

    OP was asking for non hip hop, so Pitbull qualifies. Flo Rida and Pitbull used to both exclusively rap back in the day. I remember listening to both them dudes before they crossed over to Pop.
