Oct 20, 2017 This moron and I were having an argument in the YouTube comments about this. He said MMLP2 was lyrically Em’s best album, and when I pointed out that SSLP, MMLP, The Eminem Show, and Relapse are all lyrically superior, and that there’s a Iot of corny bars and wack lines on the album, I was called ignorant and challenged to go bar for bar. The worst line on TES is probably better than the majority of MMLP 2. This r----- said The Eminem Show “doesn’t have bars, lol” and says Evil Twin is better than the whole Eminem Show album and wants me to show him a better bar from TES, so he can show me how “ignorant” I am. I’m pretty much sure I’m not gonna respond, but my question is this: is MMLP 2 really that lyrically impressive? There some wack-a--- lines and verses on there. How would you guys rank his discography in terms of how lyrically impressive they are? 1. TES 2. MMLP 3. SSLP 4. Relapse 5. Infinite 6. MMLP 2 7. Encore 8. Recovery
Oct 20, 2017 1. TES (If this isnt your #1 lyrical Eminem album something is wrong) 2.MMLP 3.SSLP 4. Infinite 5.Recovery 6.Relapse 7.MMLP2 (this album should've been shelved and King Mathers shoulda dropped) 8.Encore Dont @ttack me
Oct 20, 2017 MMLP2 is extremely impressive lyrically and is an absolutely huge step up from the lyricism in Recovery Evil Twin, Baby, & Groundhog Day in particular are full of bars. Crazy wordplay
Oct 20, 2017 Like this s--- in Evil Twin is reminscient of prime Em. Recovery-era Em could never even dream of putting that together. Absolutely golden “Now I've been hip-hop in it's tip-top form Since N.W.A was blaring through my car windows Leaning on the horn, screaming "f--- the police!" like cop p--- Flipped rap on its ear like I dropped corn f--- top five, b----, I'm top four And that includes Biggie and Pac, whor- And I got an Evil Twin So who the f--- do you think that third and that fourth spot's for? And crazy as I am, I'm much tamer than him And I'm nuts, then again, who the f--- wants a plain Eminem?”
Oct 20, 2017 I can agree with this, but I don’t see it as his best album lyrically, not with some of those corny bars he had on there, and considering how impressive the rhymes on SLLP, MMLP, and TES were.
Oct 20, 2017 Like horseshoe g--- once said eminem is my lyrical than he was back then. His songs just isn’t better than his old songs
Oct 20, 2017 Not necessarily true but closer to the truth than you think. It's the best writing he has post hiatus a the very least. Even monster, which people hate, has some of the best verses lyrically speaking he's ever had. And Rhyme or Reason been slept on as an Eminem Classic.
Oct 21, 2017 It’s great lol the way he pieced it all together and delivered it Can’t think of anything from Recovery off the top of my head with writing as sharp as that, and it’s not even one of the best examples from MMLP2 tbh
