Dec 17, 2017 I am guilty myself of not giving it a chance at first. When I actually shut my brain off of what I wanted to hear, and paid attention to what I was listening to, I realized how brilliant a lot of these songs are. The more people discuss the bars, meanings, and other technical aspects of the songs, the more people will come to realize how great a lot of this is.
Dec 17, 2017 People don’t like to dissect bars, production, and music in general anymore. It’s a shame.
Dec 17, 2017 You can spit great lyrics over the sound of two stray cats f---ing and it's going to be a s--- song to listen to
Dec 17, 2017 A lot of beats that people are complaining about are like the beats when hip hop was getting started.
Dec 17, 2017 And people have to make up their minds. Is it bad songs, or is it because they’re too radio friendly? People just want to complain, because some people are saying it was too focused on the song itself.
Dec 17, 2017 gotta remember.. most of the people who listen weren't around when hip-hop started. The genre has evolved and artists need to evolve with it
Dec 17, 2017 A lot of whiny b------s in this thread lmao. If you don't like it, don't listen. Music will always change
Dec 17, 2017 Em was on point for 90% of the album. Production and overall execution of his peers let him down.
Dec 17, 2017 I think they are tryouts no to pay homage/ bring this generation back to hip hops roots. I’m not even saying really even like it that much, because even though I liked the eighties rock samples, it was far from my favorite period of hip hop.
