Jan 2, 2015 Cool, I actually like Macklemore. Hopefully he can take that pop-rap sound he had and flesh it out a bit more. Could see him having a great career as a B.o.B. type rapper.

Jan 2, 2015 Ryan Lewis is the talent in that group. His beats + his ear for local no name features is ear candy. Maklemore sounds like every other double time rapper on YouTube.
Jan 2, 2015 Maybe it's just because I'm from Seattle and I've had to deal with this idiot since 2005 but I f---ing hate him. Ryan Lewis is a GREAT producer, but Macklemore himself is awful in just about every way. Yeah, I agree with most of his messages and all, but he presents them in such a corny and cookie-cutter fashion that I can't really even give him credit for that. Not to mention he consistently embarrasses himself in the media and neuters his own messages, like when he let allowed WING$ to be used in a f---ing NBA commercial. What a joke.

If he really felt that bad and was actually good enough friends with Kendrick he would have discussed it with him in person and not made it into a news story. By posting it to insta he just wanted attention for people to know that he has Kendrick's phone number.
