I had one iPod that wouldn't hold a charge and another that wouldn't hold music. So I mix and matched the hard drive and battery. Both jacks on both iPods worked before. Then I got it together and it worked. My friend gave me a broken iPod with a bigger hard drive. So I put that in my ipod . Now for some reason neither jacks work. I didn't take out or damage them. Why would neither work?

try both of the jacks in the working ipod and check the connections theyre easy to break even the solder on the logic board can come loose and you wouldnt know

Already tried . Don't know what the h--- happened. I didn't even touch the jack's on either of them. Was thinking something else could of happened seeing as though both aren't working.
