    I'm still a kid I guess but my parents don't listen to hip-hop. I do know that my mom works out to Black Skinhead and some other pump up type of songs but not for the enjoyment like we do. Anyone's parents listen to hip-hop when they were growing up?

    My mom is one of those people who just casually listens to the radio. The only people I know she really likes are f---ing Backstreet Boys, NKOTB, and Jason Aldean. She told me she used to listen to Smashing Pumpkins as a teen.

    My dad grew up as that one kid who'd walk around the hood with a boombox on his shoulder lmao, and would mostly bump Beastie Boys. When I was a kid he listened to a lot of like angry rock groups like Linkin Park, System of A Down, etc. That was a big part in influencing what I listened to as a kid, but the coolness of that is countered by the fact that he used to (and somewhat still does) f--- with both Creed and Nickelback. Unfortunately, nowadays all he really listens to is country so I can't really talk music with him anymore.

    Out of all my friends' parents I've met, @Sign Language 's probably had to have the coolest tasye. I remember on his birthday we just cruised around with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre blaring on our way to where we were going.

    That's awesome, I can imagine in about 20 years all the parents will be blasting Migos and Young Thug and talking about how the kids missed out on Kendrick's greatest years
