    Eh, it was really messy in a bad way imo. They tried something different, actually many different things at once and ended up giving us an album that's all over the place. It's fun to some people, but it really tired me after a couple of listens. Did you like The Resistance?

    2nd law wasn't as cohesive or grandiose as resistance, but honeslty a lot of great tracks came from it. I still listen to madness, and the entire latter half of the album (follow me esp) hoping for a more put together project, but the way I see it muse has been on a roll.

    Looking for a marked improvement over the last 2 albums. Absolution is one of my favourite lps so I'm always hopeful.

    Thought Psycho was decent. Nice to see an old riff become a song, even if the lyrics were questionable.

    Saw the band play last week in a small venue and it was awesome. Really heavy set, Psycho is great fun live, and Reapers was a beast. It felt like a really telling signal of what the album would be like.

    Dead Inside... just f---ing destroyed my hype for Drones. I will check it out of course, but my expectations crashed down to earth again.

    Psycho was so underwhelming that i havent even looked into this project since that released,

    But the album seriously hasnt come out yet? :work:
