Feb 23, 2015 -Self aware Eminem (Bad Guy, GoF) -No pop hooks/ Rihanna -At least a couple Jeff Bass/ Dre produced tracks -more than 1 rapper feature -No psychopath murderer raps (we already had relapse) -No Alex da Kid -No Wont Back Down's/Survivals -A less corny 1st single -Not another sequel, something different -That it's his last album What am I missing?
Feb 25, 2015 I meant if he were to release an album this year. Same goes for next year. I think though we'll hear his next album by next spring at the latest.
Feb 25, 2015 Tbh it wouldn't matter. People would hate anyway. Swear to god he could release the GOAT album and most of this forum would hate cause its Eminem
Feb 25, 2015 Probably. And I don't understand it. I realize that he's not as good as he once was ( and no one is after they hit their prime). I've just learned to take the good with the bad.
Feb 25, 2015 Exactly lol. People all the time are like oh wtf he's rapping about r--- and blah blah... And I'm shocked because those are the same people that loooove the first two albums. Like what has he always done? Oh well, most everyone I know at least puts him top 3 outside this forum
Feb 25, 2015 Same here. I hear people occasionally say they like "the old em" better, but not to the point of f---ing hating the guy like on this forum. Artists change over time, the man's 43 f---ing years old. Just for putting out 3 classic albums in a row like sslp, mmlp, and tes he is top 3. Putting out lower quality/mediocre past his prime doesn't negate that . Just like Derek Jeter playing like a shell of his former self his past few seasons doesn't not make him one of the greatest players who ever lived.
Feb 25, 2015 Honestly i would Rather a Mixtape with hand picked songs by eminem from leftovers and cuts on one disc with 3 or 4 new songs NOT an album that could go horribly wrong as i know it will a mixtape is fine as i you understand its an mixtape put his unreleased songs that were hyped up like the dj head collab stuff like that insult 2 injury good hanf picked songs and release it for free (but wait thats right paul stands in the way of anything free fuckeeeeer)
Feb 25, 2015 the problem is is that eminem is too much of a perfectionist and he tries so hard that its just cringeworthy. he needs to go back to the old him to where he was just having fun rapping instead of trying to prove hes the best rapper. alot of people knock relapse into the ground but honestly you can tell hes having alot of fun on that album and thats what fans truly want... not another relapse, but him having fun. all these motivational songs and s--- are just getting old and boring, all them IM THE GREATEST songs are getting old and boring, but theres really no way for him to reinvent himself unless he smokes a f---in blunt and pops a few pills. obviously his greatest albums were his first three, but eminem show is on a completely different level than the other 2. slim shady is pretty much comedy to me, marshall mathers is story telling, and eminem show is him declaring hes the best. encore was pretty much garbage and alot of fa----s like that song toy soldiers but that s--- made me think he went soft. honestly on encore i liked rain man and a--- like that because they were funny as s--- to me, i like funny s---. come at me bruhs... anyways back to toy soldiers... i was extremely disappointed in that song, but then re up came out and i heard no apologies and i was ecstatic to hear him get back to the f--- everyone attitude. i liked recovery as well, to me that album shows his versatility. mmlp2 is like... he got his heart broken again and just cant handle it, yet rapgod was f---ing phenomenal. and honestly the closest ive heard the "new" eminem to the "old" eminem was the shady2.0 cypher on the bet awards, that s--- had me wowed. hes close on a few songs on mmlp2, and even closer on shadyxv... he is just dragging s--- too far on that album... like i love right for me, but if he wouldnt of dragged out certain nonsense the song would have been f---ing superb. people would have clamored over it. but again he was trying to hard to please the fans. he needs to get back to f--- what everyone wants, ima do what i want attitude and we will get a breathe of fresh air (or old air) with his new material. and im finished. i never post like this so consider yourselves blessed. and please, tell me about how i need to put it into paragraphs or else i flunk the exam.
Feb 26, 2015 Idgaf what people say, relapse is f---ing fantastic. The more i listen the more i think thats the closest thing to slim shady h--- ever make at this age.The content is weird sure but f--- lol the dude goes off that whole album. Anyway, regardless of what this forum says I'd be down for a few more mix tapes/EPs or albums. Of course mix tapes will never happen (f--- you Paul)
Feb 26, 2015 its funny that the ones constantly hating on em are the ones who visit and post in his forum the most
Feb 26, 2015 No more albums. Dont think he has enough content to make a whole album anymore. There was a time where he had actaully topics to talk about but not anymore. MMLP2 kinda showed that. Im hoping for EPs like another Bad meets Evil. I can still appreciate and enjoy his lyricism on those type of songs/projects. Definitely want some collabs with people he hasnt worked with before like Nas. Hip-Hop needs that collab
Feb 26, 2015 It's obvious to me. Never 3 projects of Shady Records in a same year. Em is now d--- busy on his own projects with other artists, Love Story ( done), Glassblouse ( 80% done), LL ( he had his verse), Tech ( still waiting) and some unconfirmed projects. Royce also said in an interview with Peter Rosenberg that Eminem now didn't have enough songs for an album. Case closed.
