As far as an actual solid album goes, he dropped the greatest grime album OAT with Home Sweet Home. Dizzy and co had a lot of critical acclaim, but pound for pound nobody came close to Kano's debut. Shame he fell the f--- off after that, he's more of an actor now.

He dropped a few decent projects around 2011 though..

Out of his recent stuff i liked these 2 songs.

Home Sweet Home was critically acclaimed. Kano was the best lyrical grime artist.

Yea, fair point. Only reason I mentioned that is because Dizzee Rascal won a Mercury Prize award (only second rapper to win it) for boy in da corner, which is far inferior imo.

This song was so ahead of its time. One of the best tracks to ever come out the UK. Never grow tired of it

Remember tre mission? Dude was Canadian doing grime flows. Didn't really sound right, he was dope imo but I don't know. It's kinda the same way Americans don't like hearing English people Rap, probably takes some time to get used used to

You that just reminded me i Was gonna make a thread on this few weeks ago. Anyone remember few years ago j Cole said p money was amazing? I swear he said he was gonna make a track with him. This was like 2011/2012

Chris rock loved boy in the corner. Said it was one of his fave albums

I feel dizzee is a marmite person (people either hate his music or love it).

Boy in the corner represents grime more imo. It was so fukin raw and Ill. Brand new day is one of my fave songs of all time. I couldn't choose between the two I love both albums

But no one is making classics like those anymore

True, especially after Grime started dying, Dizzee's hit 'Bonkers' made my ears bleed, when he became mainstream. Kano's album came out when I was in the early days of high school, when Boy Better Know were massive here in LDN.

    Another classic.

I didn't like it either. It's just a rave song. You have to hand it to dizzee he's very versatile. He made some great music outside of grime. I think maths and English was a dope album to, that s--- still gets plays in my ride, remember flex? Lol that s--- was huge back in college
