    I'm wanting to torrent Adobe products and FL Studios. Any suggestions on torrent sites that aren't loaded with viruses?

    And of course Pirate Bay. Sometimes their stuff seems shady though. I try and stick to kickass.

    I've always known about Pirate Bay, but I know people who've got some nasty viruses from that site.

    Anything public means that the NSA and others are watching you through DHT (distributed hash table) and LPE (Local Peer Exchange). If you are using a public site, I would recommend disabling those in your torrent client. Even then, chances are if a government entity downloaded the torrent they'll be able to see you as a peer and request cease and desist orders.

    The NSA isn't stopping piracy lol.
    Your ISP might shut off you connection and say "bad, don't do that".
    Use a VPN or switch carriers.

    Not really, it depends on your country. You can limit your upload to 0kbps if your country doesn't have any laws about downloading and only uploading as is in Canada.
    In the US, it's an almost automatic C&D as soon as they see the connection, it just depends on how lenient your ISP is to giving away your client info for them to send you it.
    I'm not here to advocate any sites, I'm not sure this is the forum to do so. However I can say, there are better options than what has been listed here that are semi-public. You need to register but you don't need to be referred.

    Same. Only been torrenting for a few months tho. Almost got in trouble back in the day for torrenting movies. Since I have stuck to music, I've been good.
