May 12, 2015 So folks, what do you think about it? Will Kendrick win the Grammy for AOTY? Or will he just win the usual hip hop categories (Just like Kanye, Eminem etc...)? The poll options are just suggestions. Obviously, feel free to post what you think about it. As much as this album received critical acclaim... I somehow doubt this will win. Even though you might argue, that there is no other album that received this much critical acclaim in recent years. A nomination is on lock though. But even that might be a surprise, considering Kanye was robbed with My Beautiful... Also, hip hop seems to be overlooked a bit these days. Remember the Song/Record of the year categories? No single hip hop song, but mainstream songs. Remember how the hip hop category was neglected last year on the main show? Another con is, that the album isn't a monster seller. We all know how the Grammy's prefer big sellers too. Or just watch how another hipster album takes the award (Beyonce was robbed this year). Or let's do all a Ye, and run to the stage and bow down to K.Dot.
May 12, 2015 I think he will win the grammy in the rap/hip hop category. I really liked TPAB but I highly doubt he gets AOTY.
May 12, 2015 highest rated hip hop album of all time. Don't see how he couldn't. But then again he probably won't.
