    Love his first 3 albums

    Konvicted / Trouble Akon is the Akon I prefer. I think Konvicted is his best work. But Freedom is a pretty solid pop album. Lots of memories with that one

    Had the mid-2000’s on lock. From the streets, Clubs, and charts. He was on fire and pushed music into a more Dance Pop sound. People forget but he is a major reason Lady Gaga blew up. He was the 2nd most soniclly recognizable artist/Producer of the mid 2000’s, just behind timbland and maybe T-pain. (And mainstream juggernauts like Eminem and Rihanna of course).
