Steve Austin Says He Would “Discuss” a Match Against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32

Stone Cold Steve Austin interviewed Paul Heyman on the WWE Network immediately after Raw went off the air tonight, and during the interview the subject of Brock Lesnar of course came up.

At the end of the interview, Heyman asked Austin if he would face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32, and Austin was very eager to respond.

While Austin did not say yes, specifically, he did say he would “open a can of whoopass on Lesnar’s a---” and that “we could discuss it.”

Austin went on to say that the match is actually something Lesnar would have to think about, because he’s not sure Lesnar wants to go to Dallas next year and get his a--- kicked in front of 105,000 WWE fans.

I was already considering going to Mania next year since I know WWE wants to make it huge, now I gotta f---in go if this happens! Wow I'd love to see it.

So f---in hyped right now over this even being possible, wow. Imagine Rock/HHH and Sting/Taker being on the SAME CARD, Ronda Rousey possibly in a match as well.

It'd be his last match and in his home f---in state, he'd have to win you'd think. Then again who knows, most people lose their last match.

*edit* I don't care either way who wins tbh lol, just want it to happen. Now I'm actually thinking Brock would win though.

Austin said he'd only do it if it was a Texas Deathmatch. No way in h--- is he winning against Lesnar. He'd have to pin Lesnar for a 10 count, that's just not going to happen.

Can you imagine the response this would get? And the build up on raw? The promos from Heyman and Austin, the hype, the crowd response, the match itself.

Isn't he like totally broken down?

The great thing about Austin was how nonstop he used to be... I don't want to see Austin hobbling around the ring.

s---, even my favorite of all time was disappointing the last time I saw him wrestle (The Rock)

I can pretty much guarantee he wouldn't do it unless he was able to put on a great match. He'd train like crazy I'm sure. Plus texas death match is basically last man standing so I assume they could use weapons and stuff too.

My main concern is Austin's had major neck issues and Brock is known for doing a ton of suplexes, those 2 things don't mix well but I'm sure they'd figure something out.

Hopefully we know by the end of the summer one way or another, I'm sure WWE would love to announce it way in advance.

I don't know why exactly but I'm feeling pretty confident about it, thinking at least a 50% chance. If it'll ever happen, it's gotta be this year. 100,000+ people and in Texas.

Rock/HHH is all speculation from the Rock/Rousey/HHH/Stephanie segment from WM 31. But i could easily see Rock/HHH happening. I'd much rather see HHH/Rousey though!

They kinda teased it a couple times and Rock's sounding like he probably wants to wrestle at WM32 so it's possible. I wouldn't mind seeing Rock face someone he hasn't faced, but I'll be happy either way. Rock/HHH and Stephanie/Ronda or Rock/HHH with Stephanie and Ronda in each corner is very possible.

I don't think Stephanie/Ronda would make much sense since it'd have to be a very quick match to even seem somewhat legit lol, but maybe Stephanie would add some stipulations to make it more believable.

WWE's really trying to go all out for next year.
