Is Rap Dead?

    Rap seems to be in a bad spot right now. I am not seeing a ton of quality releases. What is going on?

    Are there any albums that could save Rap this year?

    A couple of albums that I am excited about that I know of:

    1. Yelawolf
    2. Joyner Lucas (We've probably heard every song already)
    3. Don Trip keeps releasing quality EPs every month
    4. J. Cole (I'll believe it when I see it)
    5. J.ID. Not sure if he is dropping this year or not

    Thoughts?

    As bad as it's ever been and I vividly remember each year since 1996.

    The only album I've given a f--- about in the last 3 years was It's Almost Dry and the thing is almost f---ing 2 years old lol.
