    3 always been my favorite. it's the reason i got into wayne.
    "You Ain't Got Nuthin"
    and definitely. use to have this on a repeat all the time back in 9th grade

    Took me a few listens to really like it considering all the great material that leaked prior to the album coming out. great album none the less though

    Carter 2 will always be better than 3 (imo) If the unused stuff had been used then maybe it would have a shot at being better. It's all about preference really, 3 is really great though. Might listen to it later, thanks for making this thread.

    EDIT: 3 Peat, is my favorite track on the album-- on the 'Leak' it's Gossip.

    my fav on the leak is IM ME so goat



    like every carter has its own sound so if u wanna get someone who is more into the old school hip hop carter 2 is for them 1 is for down south, 3 is for more mixture of em all, 4 is for commercial sound its crazy

    The beginning of the end for Wayne. We see his goofy punchlines come to the forefront.
    Carter II and the mixtapes directly before and after it was the strongest stretch of his career.

    The thing with C3 is that Wayne basically made two classic projects for it when your u take into account the leaks.

    I remember I didn't give this album a chance at first because it was ALL my brother listened to for a while. And I always got annoyed with his music. Waking me up on the morning and s---.

    But years later I think I grew to appreciate Wayne more. And this album especially. It's honestly great.

    Mr. Carter is easily my favorite song. C2 is my favorite Carter but just slightly. C3 was my first real experience with Wayne though.
