I pre-ordered TDOSS twice, then bought an additional CD now just for the physical liner notes

When it released at midnight, I downloaded the pre-orders on laptop, synced to phone, then additionally created my own "screwed" versions of the 21 tracks at 83% speed just to have them versions in the tuck throughout the weekend moving forward

Anyway, then I decided to make this cheah thread!

Bout to finally listen...

Pros to my strategy:

• I can low-key preview each track by looking at what everyone in here has posted the past 67 minutes, although I assume it's the biggest clustermess ever but yet still cheahcheahcheah!

• I can look up newly-inscribed genius.com lyrics while I listen (might not even do that though, might just let it play through)

Cons to my strategy:

• I coulda like just listened at midnight like a normal person et al

Anyway, throughout all the Em projects through the year, it's fun to me to think about "how so I went about listening to the other projects" (as in, the past 3 have all been "surprise releases," then ya know leaks are always interesting etc)

Anyway comment if you want to about your personal listening experience for TDOSS and whether you woulda done it differently. Or, for that matter, any album

Just hit play on spotify like an hour ago. Got up to Guilty Conscience 2 and stopped feeling it.

Yikes. I'm on Track 4 and I'm freakin out. Expectations were too high maybe? Idk; tough to tell on first listen idk idk. Album could still be a masterpiece. Idk what's going on. Many fans/stans always wished for a concept album. "Be Careful What You Wish For?" idk! cheah

I found the best way to listen to it is in a dark room on a comfortable couch with a wee vibrating butt plug

I get what you're saying, and I also agree with you.

That said, at the moment it's too early to process/digest and whatnot
