Jul 23, 2024 I've always found it weird. Eminem was the highest selling artist of the 2000s and was still one of the top selling artists after 2010. He's never really flopped. Even after his 11th number one album, you'll still hear people that will say he retired long ago. Or look at Candace Owens. Candace Owens said that Eminem will never be as famous as Kanye. She said that he needs HER to help him to go viral because he's so irrelevant. She said you have to understand that's the fact. Does she really believe that? I don't understand why people act like this, no matter how many facts you throw at them, they refuse to live in reality. Are there this many stupid people? Do they not realize that Eminem is the highest selling rapper of all time and still sells very well compared to his competition? As a matter of fact for a rapper to be selling this well at 50, shouldn't he be getting even more credit? Even MGK thinks he beat him. Even Benzino thinks he beat him and said Eminem isn't relevant anymore. It's weird. By the way, if Eminem is irrelevant and not popular, doesn't that mean every other rapper who has ever existed flopped too since they can't outsell him? This pisses me off because people who hate on Eminem don't live in reality and look at the facts.
Jul 23, 2024 She is right though. Candace is a stupid woman and what do stupid women like doing? Reading tabloids and the internet sites being equivalent for tabloids. So of course this silly cow believes Kanye is more popular, as he married a slut that was mentioned in those low-quality outlets time and time again and so was he as her spouse.
Jul 25, 2024 This is the weirdest Eminem forum ever. Why? Because one thread will have like 7,000 posts in one day. And then others (even pinned ones) won't have a reply for days and days. That's mathematically weird.
Jul 25, 2024 Maybe the reason people don't talk about him as much anymore is because he hasn't really made songs for clubs, radios and parties. He also hasn't made any groundbreaking, critically acclaimed or exceptionally creative albums that would be on "top 10 albums of the year" lists. Em has typically just tried to make music that appeals to his fanbase, and his original fanbase in 2002 was so huge, that even keeping a fraction of it will still allow him to chart high.
Jul 25, 2024 He’s irrelevant within hip hop culture which puts him in a weird place in terms of the zeitgeist because that’s the space he ostensibly should be in, and it’s the space he most wants acceptance and approval. But he’s a pop star. Giving him credit for outselling other rappers is the same as saying 21 Savage flops commercially in comparison to Taylor Swift. His rivals are Beyonce and Taylor Swift not Lil’ Baby and Gunna.
Aug 1, 2024 All I know is Em is still one of the top selling artists today and he's over 50 years old. How many people his age are still selling like that? And it's also weird how people would look at him laugh at him for having a beard and not having blonde hair. Saying he's old when he's older than them and looks younger than them. They think he's supposed to be 25 forever. The standards the haters hold for him are really weird. And Candace Owens thinks Em needed her to sell again. Do people really believe these things?
Aug 2, 2024 It's the same reason why people say Eminem sucks etc. His music and rapping is as good as the best s--- out there but they act as if he is terrible, rating MTBMB, DOSS all 50-ish. It's weird. But at some point it became popular to say anything bad about Eminem even if it's scientifically wrong like popularity of his. When it's all said and done, no matter what any idiot says, he'll be there at the top, with all the records he broke...
Aug 2, 2024 I honestly think there's been an ongoing campaign against him. The same people that were sucking his d-ck after Recovery and MMLP2 (which was a bad album) started hating everything he put out after that. It almost seems as if someone gave the green light years ago. It can't be a coincidence.
Aug 2, 2024 It was actually post-Recovery 2011-2012 when his core fans really started to hate him due to some atrocious features and verses he put out, and rightly so.
Aug 2, 2024 Candace... the people can say all they want about the man, the fact is he is respected by hip-hop greatest rappers themselves and is rated on the top, including his peers rate on high enough... making the opinion of these common people of him irrelevant and invalid. People can talk.
Aug 4, 2024 But I wonder if she really believes what she says. She said he is irrelevant but if he does start going viral, he must understand it is because of her. I wonder if she is this clueless like many act or if she is saying this for a reason.
