    Well to start off: this forum should be fun.
    Discussions are healthy but f--- sometimes I see people getting into heated arguments but also actual fights.... if you do it for fun, that's fine ofc.

    But if you actually care, it is good to take a break.

    Invest money in stocks and shares as young as you possibly can. Even if it's just 10 a week or something like that. But start those habits asap and increase the amount you invest as your salary increases over time.

    Future you will thank you when you're a millionaire before the age of 50.

    I’ve been trying to tone down the arguments as I’m fine but I feel like I have been upsetting people a bit too much

    Good for you man. Just stick with it. Put a small amount in religiously every week/month) no matter how good/bad the stock market is doing. Don't touch it until you're old and grey. And don't buy individual shares, just put it in a tracker fund like the Nasdaq or FTSE100 or the equivalent of wherever you're from. The general rule of thumb is to invest 10% of wage, whatever that may be. That way you'll increase the amount you're putting on over time but still living within your means.

    Compound interest will work much better magic over a longer time.

    Prioritize yourself. It might sound selfish but at the end of the day you gotta go for your dreams. If you had one shot, one opportunity in one moment, Would you capture it or just let it Slip?
