    Apparently both of these shows are HBO classics and I haven't seen either show yet. I'll probably end up watching both overtime, but which one should I watch first? What do you guys like better?

    The Sopranos is easier to get into for most people, but I'd say The Wire is a better show overall. Not that that takes anything away from the Sopranos, because both are top three serial dramas of all time. You won't go wrong either way.

    Will add though that The Wire is probably one of the most detailed tv series in existence.

    I can never decide which one is better. It's always the one I'm watching at that moment. I can watch a scene with Tony and the crew and think this is easily better. Then I watch a scene with String and Avon or Marlo and completely change my mind.

    lmao, it's been over a month and I still haven't started to watch any.

    I've decided to go with The Wire, seen it been talked about on this site quite a bit recently.

    Will get on it tomorrow.
