Jul 23, 2015 Go. - I don't like the American Pie movies - Zombieland is good but after all the reviews I was kind of dissappointed - Paranormal Activity movies were boring as h--- to me Will add more later
Jul 23, 2015 I remember you, you were pretty active on SL right? And agree to an extent, the concept is great and it has its moments but overall I'm not that big of a fan.
Jul 23, 2015 Requiem for a Dream is Aronofsky's best movie, not a shamelessly gruesome DARE commercial. Black Swan is a toned down remake of The Piano Teacher. College-freshman-core. Baby's first surrealism.
Jul 23, 2015 Exactly. I think I was a senior in HS when I saw it. I remember telling someone I hated it and them saying "but it has so many levels!" Can't believe there are so many people (not even just teenagers) who think it's this super deep crowning achievement in cinema.
Jul 23, 2015 I don't think it was horrible (watched it years ago) but even back then it had me rolling my eyes. It came out the same week as Mulholland Drive too.
Jul 23, 2015 Iron Man 1(and 2 & 3) is awful to me. Literally can't sit through it. The Dark Knight series is unwatchable to me. As someone who was raised on Michael Keaton's Batman Christian Bale's portrayal is absolutely awful and downright comical to me. Hangover 2 gets alot of unfair hate. Almost as good as the original. (Part 3 is one of the worst movies of all-time though)
Jul 23, 2015 I actually agree about Christian Bale. I wouldn't say The Dark Knight trilogy is unwatchable but it certainly takes a bit of a hit because Bale never really felt like Batman.
Jul 23, 2015 Changing Lanes is a great movie Man of Steel is one of the worst super hero movies made Spider Man 3 was pretty good (the worst of the three, though) American Psycho is bad Spring Breakers was great
Jul 23, 2015 Spring Breakers is one of the all time great American films. Joaquin Phoenix is the best actor oat. Tom Hanks is not a great actor. New York, New York is top tier Scorsese.
