Awesome movie, just saw it. It also has a 92% on rotten tomatoes right now if that matters to you. But don't go see it if you need to see a lot of action, it's a slow build and is about the story and characters.

Simon and Robyn are a young married couple whose life is going just as planned until a chance encounter with an acquaintance from Simon's high school sends their world into a harrowing tailspin. Simon doesn't recognize Gordo at first, but after a series of uninvited encounters and mysterious gifts prove troubling, a horrifying secret from the past is uncovered after more than 20 years. As Robyn learns the unsettling truth about what happened between Simon and Gordo, she starts to question: how well do we really know the people closest to us, and are past bygones ever really bygones?

I don't want to discuss it more for now cuz it'd be spoilers and I'm not sure if anyone else here has even seen it. But it's a good thriller if you're interested, I enjoyed it. I went without seeing the trailer which I almost never do but I think it was a good idea. I have a few specific things I want to comment about but I'll wait a day or 2 so people don't click spoilers..

*edit* but if you're interested in the trailer, here it is.

Saw it thursday, really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting Jason Bateman to pull a suspense movie off since I'm used to seeing him act in comedies but he did well.

Glad you guys liked it too. :emoji_thumbsup:

Some major spoilers below so don't read if you haven't seen it.....

I loved how there were times throughout the movie (especially in the 2nd half) where the movie kinda made it so you didn't know who to root for. It seemed like some were on Gordo's side and some were on Simon's side while his wife was always seen as a good character it seemed. Also so what do you guys think actually happened? The ending kinda left it open, did Gordo really r--- his wife? If so is he possibly the father? I kinda saw it as he was just trying to piss Simon off more by not telling him whether he did or not (I don't think he did tbh) so Simon would have to think about it more.

@Blank you might want to put that in a spoiler tag in case someone's reading the thread and hasn't seen it yet. But to answer your question
naw I don't think he did it, I think it was just mind games with Simon.

@Grimace I mostly like answers too but I also like it when an ending can make you think about it more. It was still a cool ending I thought, also
that monkey mask was creepy and fitting since Simon had a fear of monkeys.
