Aug 13, 2015 So today I found out that Boy Meets World had a spin off called "Girl Meets World"... I got curious and looked up some clips on YouTube. f---ing Nope. Seeing that made me think of how great the original series actually was. Let's appreciate this show together while forgetting the spin off was ever a thing!
Aug 14, 2015 Girl Meets World comes nowhere near Boy Meets World, with that being said it's still a pretty good show and nice to see everyone
Aug 14, 2015 Boy Meets World didn't really hold up for me... Loved it as a kid, saw like every episode. Then I rewatched a couple seasons like a year ago and it wasn't really funny anymore. :lehh: Then I was convinced to watch Girl Meets World, I was cringing throughout the whole ep. Seeing grown man Cory still acting like a 12 year old was pretty pathetic lol
Aug 14, 2015 I actually wonder about this as far as the ages of people here. I downloaded a few episodes, and found it to be okay. But growing up with it, it was one of the greatest shows ever. I don't think it holds up well for adults, but it is great if you watch it while you're going through similar ages. It is actually a lot like the show his older brother starred in, The Wonder Years, though I think WY holds up better. But it is definitely a coming of age story, and it doesn't resonate as well once you've passed through that door. I'm guessing someone who is like 20 now and never saw the show before wouldn't really get into it, but a kid who starts watching it at 12 even today could get a lot out of it.
Aug 14, 2015 Timeless show. Seen every episode multiple times.. they don't make shows like this with a good message anymore. Spin off is so bad though. The ones where the old characters come back aren't so bad though.
Aug 14, 2015 The episode where Shawn returns and the one where Eric returns are Def worth watching. They pulled both off pretty good.
